Police in the Łęczna area seized more than 6.5 kilograms of drugs, including marijuana, hashish and amphetamine. Officers detained a 34-year-old man from the gmina of Puchaczów. Investigators said the illegal substances were stored at his home and in a garage. The man was charged with possession of a substantial amount of drugs. He was also accused of growing non-fibre cannabis and of possessing equipment intended for producing narcotic substances. Police and the prosecutor asked the court to impose temporary arrest. The court instead placed the suspect under police supervision. The man faces up to 10 years in prison.
