Police from the drug unit in the Bydgoszcz city command arrested a 42-year-old resident of Bydgoszcz accused of a large-scale drug trafficking attempt. Prosecutors said the man was involved in preventing more than 11 kilograms of narcotics from reaching the market. He was ordered into pre-trial detention for three months. He faces up to 20 years in prison. The case was driven by the drug unit’s involvement. As a result of their work, the man ended up behind bars and prosecutors brought charges over the alleged narcotics operation. The latest status is that the accused is held in custody as the case proceeds on the basis of the prosecutor’s decision.
