Police detained a 20-year-old man after he allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old boy on an outdoor gym by the Swietokrzyski Bridge in central Poland. The suspect reportedly pulled the child, threatened to beat him with a telescopic baton, and would not let him leave. Witnesses called police and recorded part of the incident. Officers reached the scene within minutes and arrested the attacker. Police found a telescopic baton on him. The man had more than 2 promiles of alcohol in his body. A court agreed with the prosecutor’s motion and applied pre-trial detention as a preventive measure. The suspect remains in custody while the case proceeds under the court’s decision.
