Poland police accuse 7 people after seizing 500,000 cigarettes
They also seized nearly 27 kilograms of drugs in Małopolska raids.
Polish police have detained eight people and charged seven of them over alleged drug possession and cigarette smuggling without required excise tax markings in Małopolska.
Officers seized nearly half a million cigarettes with no Polish excise tax stamps, along with almost 27 kilograms of drugs.
The operation involved Małopolska police and targeted an alleged network, including two members of the international motorcycle gang “Bandidos.”
Police said the arrests came after evidence connected the suspects to both the drug case and the trade in tobacco products without the required excise markings.
The latest status of the case is that seven people have been charged, following the police detention and seizures.
