Poland police accuse woman of taking over 100,000 zł in work loans
The colleague is said to have lost money and recovered nothing.
Polish police in Miechów accuse a 56-year-old woman of repeatedly taking loans from a work colleague, collecting more than 100,000 zł in total that the man never got back.
Officers from the Miechów police criminal unit say the alleged scheme ran between 2022 and 2025. The woman was said to borrow different sums, claiming she needed the money for her day-to-day living, while using the colleague’s kindness and sympathy.
Police moved after they obtained information pointing to the fraud. Once the case was built, the matter was referred for the court to decide.
The woman faces the charges in court, and her case status will be determined by the judges.
