Police arrest four suspects for fuel thefts across Silesia
The group allegedly tanked and drove off without paying, using stolen plates.
Bytom police from Komisariat Policji III arrested four suspects tied to a series of fuel thefts across the Silesian Voivodeship, including in Bytom.
Officers said the suspects allegedly arrived at fuel stations, tanked fuel, and left without paying. To avoid identification, they used stolen registration plates.
Police confirmed that one of the arrested men was wanted on three separate summons lists. The four suspects acted jointly, with the team linked to repeated offences at multiple stations across several cities in the region.
The arrests were made during police activities by the Bytom criminal unit, working as part of the ongoing fight against the thefts. The investigation continues under police supervision.
