Kielce police detained three suspects after phone scammers targeted a 77-year-old woman and stole her money, police said. The incident took place at the end of October. The woman believed a man who called her on the phone and presented himself as a doctor, then passed her money to a person who appeared at her home shortly after the call. Police launched intensive work after the theft. Their investigation led to the arrest of three young men suspected of involvement in the scam.
