Police in Linz intervened in a family dispute in Ebelsberg that escalated into an attack, with a father and his son arrested. A 29-year-old allegedly struck a police officer to knock him to the ground. Officers quickly moved to fix and restrain the suspect, who reportedly resisted arrest and had to be secured with handcuffs and foot restraints. While the police were handling the 29-year-old, his father, 55, allegedly stepped in and pushed two other officers to prevent the arrest of his son. Both men were taken into custody and brought to the Linz police holding centre. No one was injured, and police ended the incident without reported harm to either the detainees or the officers.
