Police in Vyshhorod shut down two suspected underground casinos operating under the cover of computer clubs. Officers said visitors were granted access to online gambling, while video surveillance cameras were used to help conceal the activity and select customers. During searches, investigators seized 44 system units, 42 monitors, and other equipment. Police reported that the venues were set up with computer workstations giving access to virtual casinos. Investigators said internet modems, PON terminals, and other network equipment were used to run the operations. Cameras played a key role, police said, helping staff monitor visitors and keep the scheme hidden. Investigators also seized flash drives, handwritten notes, and cash documents, which will be examined as the probe continues. A criminal case has been opened under Article 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for illegal organisation and conduct of gambling. Investigators are working to identify who organised the casinos, rented the premises, and served customers. No arrests or formal suspicions were reported at the time of publication.
