Local police helped a man who choked on a piece of apple in Wólka Pukarzowska. Officers were called after a witness saw the 52-year-old lying on the roadside. Policemen reached him and cleared his airway, freeing the piece of apple that had blocked his throat. The man was taken by an ambulance to hospital. After police intervention, his life was no longer in danger. The incident was handled by Łaszczów district officers, who worked to unblock the airway and stabilize the situation until medical help arrived.
