Police raid Fylde coast home tied to £6.6m drugs ring
33 people are charged and remanded after Operation Warrior warrants.
Police raided a family home on the Fylde coast after linking it to an international drugs network worth more than £6.6 million, Lancashire Police said.
The raid formed part of Operation Warrior. An eight-month covert investigation led to warrants across Blackpool and the Fylde coast in September and October 2026.
Lancashire Police shared video of officers in protective clothing using a battering ram to force entry. Inside, officers could be heard ordering a person to get down on the floor and put their hands behind their back.
The operation targeted a drugs network importing cocaine and cannabis into the UK and Lancashire market with links to the Middle East and Asia. Police said 17 people were intercepted trying to smuggle 171kg of cocaine and 297kg of cannabis, with a wholesale value of £6.6 million.
Police said they seized significant quantities of drugs, cash and weapons during raids in Blackpool and on the Fylde coast. Officers recovered more than £100,000 in cash, seized designer items including seven Rolex watches, gold bars and two vehicles, and recovered weapons including two machetes, knuckle dusters, tasers and knives.
In total, 33 people from Blackpool, South Shore, Hambleton, Lytham, St Annes, Poulton and Cleveleys were charged and remanded in custody, with 36 arrests reported as part of the operation. The people named were charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.
As of the latest update, the 33 charged suspects remain remanded in custody following the warrants under Operation Warrior.
