Police in Bystrzyca Kłodzk is arrest 2 men, aged 29 and 25, suspected of stealing an AED defibrillator worth nearly 5,000 zł. The device was kept in a locked cabinet on the outside wall of a municipal infrastructure site, where it was available for anyone needing urgent help. A resident alerted the Straż Miejska after hearing an alarm from the cabinet. Officers moved quickly, identified the suspects and recovered the stolen equipment. The defibrillator was taken despite its purpose, helping during sudden cardiac arrest. Investigators traced the theft to the two detained men and secured the AED. Both suspects were detained in connection with the burglary and the recovered defibrillator was returned.
