Police in Bač arrested S. N. (born 1965) after a raid on his home and other rooms he used, as well as a plot of land. Officers seized 13 plants suspected to be marijuana and 175 kilograms of cut tobacco. The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Basic Public Prosecution in Bačka Palanka. S. N. was taken into custody for 48 hours and will be brought before the competent prosecutor with a criminal report. The police said the suspect is being investigated for unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, and for illegal trade in excisable products.
