Police arrested a 46-year-old man in Messinia, southern Greece, after seizing 505 cannabis plants from a remote wooded area near Finikounda. Officers also seized 50 grams of dried cannabis, €12,000 in cash, three mobile phones, a car and cultivation equipment. An air pistol was found at an apartment where the suspect lived. Police estimated the potential proceeds from the seized drugs and plants at more than €500,000. The man had an outstanding drug-related arrest warrant. He was taken before a prosecutor, according to the report.
