A 58-year-old man was detained by PSP in Pombal after allegedly threatening to kill his wife and attacking a police officer during a domestic incident. Police said the patrols were called to a residence in Pombal after the woman asked for help, saying she was being threatened and feared for her safety. When officers arrived, the suspect behaved aggressively, according to the PSP. He allegedly shouted threats and insults at the agents and assaulted one of the officers, causing him intense pain in an arm. The man was taken to the police station, where he allegedly continued his aggressive behaviour and disobeyed officers.
