Training on how to respond to an active attacker in the powiat radomski.
Police in Radom, through a dedicated counter-terrorism subunit, carried out practical defence exercises under the codename “RADOMKA 2026” in the powiat radomski.
The drills took place on Thursday, 15 October 2026, and involved training for employees of the Starostwo Powiatowe in Radom as well as staff from the municipal offices across the county.
The focus was on response to a threat to life and health caused by the appearance of an active attacker. During the exercises, the scenario was tested through field actions including shooting and setting up barricades, followed by evacuating people.
The counter-terrorism officers used the training to check the preparedness of local government teams for such an emergency situation, with the exercise serving as a readiness test for public offices.
The event was completed as part of the police’s planned counter-terrorism training, with no arrests or charges reported in the available information.
