A homicide suspect wanted in Germany and listed on a red bulletin was arrested in Mardin in a police operation. According to Mardin Provincial Police Department, the special team started work in 2023 over the killing of Turkish citizen M.A. in Germany. Investigators determined that the suspect, U.A., was living in Yeşilli. U.A., who was wanted for an alleged “intentional killing” offence in Germany, was taken into custody during the operation. After police procedures, U.A. was sent to the courthouse. The court ordered U.A. to be jailed following the hearing. U.A. remains in custody after the court’s remand decision.
