Police in Ruse detained a 47-year-old driver after a roadside cannabis test came back positive. Officers from First RУ stopped the driver’s car at the intersection of bul. “Slavyanski” and ul. “Pristaniщna” in Ruse at around 10:00 on 3 November 2025. During the check with a technical device, the driver tested positive for cannabis. He was detained and provided a blood sample for laboratory analysis. The vehicle was handed over voluntarily. A fast-track procedure has been opened under Article 343b, paragraph 3 of the Bulgarian Criminal Code.
