Police in Bielefeld-Schildesche are investigating a weekend shooting spree after multiple shots were fired at the parking lot of an shopping centre. A video of the attack is apparently now in circulation, and officers are working to identify the people responsible. Several people had attacked each other with knives and pistols, police said. Three men were injured, two of them in their 20s with gun injuries, and a 22-year-old with a stab wound, with no life-threatening danger reported. The incident was reported to the police at around 18:45 on Sunday evening. Multiple callers reported a fight between two groups followed by gunfire. Officers found the injured men at three different locations and launched a search that even included a helicopter for possibly escaped suspects. As part of the murder commission investigation, police also issued a charge probe into one of the injured men. A 24-year-old from Langenberg, described as police-known and with Serbian-Kosovar citizenship, is still in hospital and was the subject of a warrant for dangerous bodily injury with a firearm and an offence under the weapons law. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspected shooters are still at large.
