Sør-Øst police district has signed a new agreement with Bufetat, region south, to strengthen how police prevent and respond to serious episodes where children and young people may be involved. The cooperation is intended to make police better equipped to handle such incidents, focusing on both prevention and management when they occur. The agreement builds on joint work between police and Bufetat, setting out how the two sides will cooperate when children and youth are at the centre of complex situations. The initiative is part of the police district’s effort to improve preparedness for serious cases involving minors, with cooperation designed to support faster and more coordinated handling as events develop.
