A 32-year-old driver in Szekszárd allegedly endangered multiple road users during a failed attempt to escape police, and only stopped when his car crashed into a parked vehicle. Police said the suspect drove dangerously through the area, nearly hitting officers before the collision. Several criminal proceedings have been launched against him. The case centres on the escape attempt and subsequent crash, after the driver allegedly placed other road users at risk. Officers took him into custody after the incident. Hungary Police said the investigations are ongoing, with multiple criminal cases started against the driver.
