A 17-year-old was arrested in Kalamaria and charged with threats, assault and theft.
A 17-year-old was arrested in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, after a student reported he was threatened with a video after a beating at school.
Police said the incident took place on Friday, 9 October, inside a school complex, when the student was allegedly attacked by a group and a small bag was taken.
Over the following days, the same 17-year-old allegedly threatened to publish the recording of the assault unless the victim quit the school board.
The student’s complaint led authorities to move against the suspect. A case file was formed for threats, bodily harm, theft and violation of personal data protection rules.
The 17-year-old is expected to be taken before the prosecutor.
