A 17-year-old was arrested in the Thessaloniki area after an alleged assault on a schoolmate and threats to post video footage online. The case unfolded in Kalamaría, when a student reported that he was attacked inside a school complex. Police say the alleged group also took a personal bag. In the days that followed, the 17-year-old reportedly threatened the victim that he would publicly release the video of the assault unless he stepped down from the school council. Following the complaint, authorities moved to arrest the teenager. A case file was compiled for a series of offences, including threats, bodily harm, theft, and violation of personal data rules. The 17-year-old is expected to be taken before the competent prosecutor.
