Police in Thessaloniki arrested a 23-year-old man after he tried to evade a police check with dangerous driving in Evosmos. Officers from the Thessaloniki Immediate Action Directorate say the arrest happened early on 20 October, when the man was driving an individual car in the Evosmos area. To avoid the planned police stop, he allegedly sped up and carried out dangerous maneuvers with his vehicle. During further inquiries, police found a pending administrative measure against him, ordering refusal of entry and residence in Greece. The 23-year-old has been taken into custody following the arrest and is now under police investigation.
