Three men have been arrested in Poland over an alleged fraud worth nearly 50,000 zloty, police said. A resident of Gostyn county reported losing almost 50,000 zloty after falling victim to the scheme. Investigators determined that part of the money was later withdrawn from an ATM in Poznan. A few days later, officers from the Economic Crime Division of the Greater Poland Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznan detained two 22-year-olds and a 19-year-old suspected of involvement in the fraud. The men were charged, and the prosecutor applied police supervision and a ban on leaving the country as precautionary measures. Police in Gostyn are still checking whether the suspects could be responsible for similar offences against other people.
