Police arrested a 38-year-old man in Trento for alleged stalking of his ex-girlfriend. The woman spotted him moving around under her home and called 112 for help. Shortly after, the man also phoned 112 saying he needed assistance to enter his ex’s house because, according to his account, another man was inside. Officers who responded identified the suspect. Police said he had prior records for offences against people and had been the subject, just days earlier, of a warning issued by the Questore of Trento for persecutory conduct toward the same ex-girlfriend. Because the man was arrested in flagrante delicto, he was taken to prison. The investigation is ongoing, and the man remains in custody following the arrest.
