Police in Valladolid have arrested two men suspected of stealing metal moulds worth more than €4,000 after breaking into an industrial unit in Laguna de Duero. The alleged theft took place on 3 July, when the representative of an electrical business reported that unknown people had accessed the premises and forced entry by damaging the perimeter fence. Two metal moulds used to make concrete prefabricated parts were taken, valued at €2,210 and €2,080. Investigators opened a case and carried out research to identify those responsible. The initial lead came from images showing two people. Police later collected and analysed a range of other clues to determine the suspects’ identities. Once the men were located, the Guardia Civil arrested them for a suspected count of robbery with force. The case file has been sent to the duty investigating court in Valladolid. At this stage, the men remain accused as the investigation proceeds through the judicial process.
