Police in Ciudad Real have detained two people accused of dealing marijuana and hashish from a home they identified as a suspected drug-selling point. The investigation started months earlier after information pointed to a residence in the Puerta Toledo area of the city. Officers had previously dismantled a similar outlet earlier in the year, and the new reports suggested the activity had resumed. Police said checks based on citizen reports and other findings confirmed a steady flow of people to the address, including buyers and consumers. During the home search, officers seized 485 euros in cash, 65 grams of marijuana, and 35 grams of hashish. They also found tools used for processing and packaging the drugs, including a precision scale and aluminium paper wraps. National Police said the two suspects were detained after the registered search. Authorities also described the case as involving the reactivation of a drug point that had been taken down in a previous operation. The detained men were accused of an offence against public health, with the police action tied to the Ciudad Real address in Puerta Toledo. The investigation remains part of the broader police work following the seizure and arrests.
