Police in Grodzisk carried out intensified actions after an “as a bank employee” fraud report that left a 68-year-old woman with a large loss of money. Officers confirmed that two minors from the neighboring county were behind the scam. Investigators collected materials against a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old. Police said the scheme relied on impersonating a bank employee to deceive the victim into handing over money. After the report, officers moved quickly to identify the suspects. The case ended with two arrests. The materials concerning both minors were sent to the Family and Juvenile Court in Żyrardów. The court decided to place both detained teenagers in Regional Education Centres (Okręgowe Ośrodki Wychowawcze).
