Investigators said the suspects were accused under multiple provisions of Ukraine’s Criminal Code, including interfering with the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and illegal smuggling of people across the border. If convicted, the men face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. The operations covered several regions, including Kyiv Oblast. There, police exposed a scheme involving the head of a district hospital and his accomplices. The men were notified of suspicion, and the case remains under investigation as procedures continue against the accused.
