Vandals damaged a young woman’s car in Küsnacht after she drove home from a Halloween party. Police in the Swiss canton of Zurich said the driver was leaving the party around midnight on Sunday when she passed a group of more than 50 youths. Seconds later, several unknown people began hitting the vehicle and kicking it, causing significant damage. The vandals also climbed onto the car and trampled on the roof, leaving the car badly damaged. The woman immediately called police. Investigators launched a case for “blindwütige Sachbeschädigung”, a description used for impulsive, senseless property damage. The Küsnacht incident happened on Schmalzgruebstrasse. Police are now asking anyone who observed the attack or any of the people involved to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call the canton police at 058 648 48 48.
