Two pedestrians in Vienna-Donaustadt noticed several teenagers at a food vending machine and saw them trying to damage the glass late yesterday evening. The alarm was raised at 22:55 on 18.10.2026 in the Donauinsel area. When police arrived, the group fled. Officers managed to stop a 14-year-old girl, who was temporarily arrested. During an immediate search, police found a rucksack near the Treppelweg. Inside were beverage cans, food items and a cap. The items were seized. Investigators are now working on the case.
