Vienna police seized 254 pyrotechnic items during controls near the train station in Floridsdorf. The operation took place on 11.10.2026 in Vienna-Floridsdorf. Officers from the readiness unit checked trains arriving from neighboring Czechia, inspecting eight trains in total. During the checks, the police found numerous pyrotechnic articles on three youths aged 12 and 16. The items included products from categories F2, F4 and P1, as well as products with a prohibited flash bang composition. In one train, officers also discovered additional pyrotechnics in a rubbish bin. No person could be linked to those items. Police filed administrative reports for the findings.
