Volos police arrested a juvenile in the city after officers from the Drug Prosecution Department raided his home. The arrest took place yesterday afternoon in Volos as part of ongoing checks against the spread of drugs. During a lawful search carried out with the help of a police dog, officers found and seized six sealed nylon bags containing cocaine with a total weight of 4.34 grams. Police also seized one drug tablet, 600 euros in cash, and a mobile phone found in the juvenile’s possession. A case file was compiled against the juvenile for breaking drug legislation. The arrested teen will be taken before the Prosecutor of Petty Offences in Volos today, while the Drug Prosecution Department continues its investigation.
