Hungarian police caught a man wanted by authorities during a road check in Tatabánya, where he ended up in police custody. The 56-year-old driver was stopped on the road and identified as a wanted person, police said. Police took him into custody during the traffic control on 19 October 2026. The operation was carried out as part of routine road enforcement. The man remains in police custody pending the next steps in the case.
