Warsaw police from the Bemowo station moved fast and arrested two young people after a senior was allegedly targeted with an “investment” offer. The 18-year-old and 19-year-old are accused of fraud aimed at tricking a woman into believing she could invest her money. The court then applied three months of pre-trial detention. Officers acted on the case and detained both suspects. Prosecutors took the matter to court, and the judge ordered their time behind bars while the case is pending.
