Seven people were detained after coordinated police action against an organised multiprime criminal group operating in the Wrocław and Legnica area, police said. Officers spent more than a dozen months working on the case, dismantling a closed criminal environment before launching a precisely planned, coordinated operation. Legnica’s unit for crime against life and health worked with the Lower Silesian police road crime unit, with support from Wrocław and Opole counterterrorism officers. Police said the group allegedly made profits from drug trading, handling stolen goods, and the theft of luxury vehicles. The operation led to arrests, with seven suspects taken into custody. The action was carried out as a coordinated strike, bringing together multiple police units and counterterrorism support. Police named Wrocław and Legnica as the key locations for the operation. The suspects have been placed under arrest as the investigation continues.
