Carabinieri arrested a suspected fraudster in flagranza after he allegedly showed a badge marked “carabinieri” that turned out to be fake. The investigation began after an Alert from the Alloggiati Web system triggered the previous night, when the suspect allegedly did not return home. Police action followed soon after. The man is accused of aggravated theft, personal injuries, and unlawful possession of weapons and ammunition, along with aggravated defamation and insulting institutions. Police said they found evidence linked to offences committed in areas considered at risk around Brescia. During the operation, authorities seized ecstasy and stolen documents. The suspect was placed under arrest by Carabinieri. Police records indicate the case is continuing, with charges filed and the investigation involving multiple allegations related to the suspect’s fraudulent activity and the items seized.
