16-year-old accused of drug trafficking, reported as supplier for peers
DIICOT detained him on suspicion of dealing cannabis and ecstasy in an ongoing scheme.
Prosecutors from DIICOT detained a 16-year-old student accused of drug trafficking in an ongoing scheme, and the boy is alleged to be the boss of a local police officer’s employee.
The case concerns accusations of trading in cannabis and ecstasy tablets, starting at least from September 2026. Investigators say the teen repeatedly procured, held and sold drugs, targeting mainly clients of the same age group.
Prosecutors allege he became a single supplier for part of the suspects’ clientele. Contact with buyers is said to have been handled through an online application where the minor promoted drug offers, or through other consumers, usually schoolmates acting as links to new customers.
Authorities say the drug dealing mostly took place at the boy’s home when he was alone.
He is being held as the investigation continues into the suspected trafficking of risk drugs and high-risk drugs, in continued form.
