Two people were convicted after the Goliath investigation into intra-Community VAT fraud and money laundering.

The case, code-named Goliath, also involved Hawala money laundering, according to EPPO.

EPPO did not provide further operational details in its announcement, but confirmed that the two convicted members were found for their role in the criminal organisation tied to the VAT fraud and related money laundering.
